Granite Outdoor Floor Tiles

Step 1: Remove Loose Debris

Use a broom or leaf blower to sweep away any loose debris, dirt, or leaves from the granite tile surface. This helps prepare the tiles for deeper cleaning.

Step 2: Prepare a Cleaning Solution

Mix a cleaning solution using a mild detergent or outdoor tile cleaner with warm water. A ratio of 2 tablespoons of detergent per gallon of water is a good starting point. Thoroughly mix the solution to dissolve the detergent.

Step 3: Apply the Cleaning Solution

Use a mop, sponge, or soft bristle brush to apply the cleaning solution to the tile surface. Ensure the granite tiles are evenly wetted with the solution.

Step 4: Scrub Stubborn Stains (If Needed)

For stubborn stains or dirt, you can use a stiff bristle brush or scraper to gently scrub the area. Be careful not to scratch or damage the tile surface.

Step 5: Rinse and Remove Residue

Use a hose or bucket of clean water to rinse the stone tiles, removing all traces of the cleaning solution and residue. Ensure the tiles are thoroughly rinsed.

Step 6: Allow to Dry

Allow the granite tiles to air dry naturally. Avoid using excessive water or standing water on the tiles, as this can cause damage or promote the growth of mold and mildew.

Step 7: Regular Maintenance

For regular maintenance, you can sweep or vacuum the stone tiles regularly to remove dirt and debris. You can also use a mild cleaning solution periodically to deep clean the tiles and keep them looking fresh.
