Waterjet granite finish
A waterjet granite finish is a specialized stone surface treatment achieved by blasting a slab with extreme, high-pressure streams of water. This process creates a coarse, textured, slip-resistant surface that mimics a traditional flamed finish while significantly better preserving the natural color and integrity of the granite.
How the Waterjet Finish Works
Instead of cutting entirely through the stone with an abrasive mix, specialized multi-nozzle automated machinery fires clean water at the face of the stone at pressures up to 500 kIlograms ( or higher 1000 kilograms, 1500 kgs or 2000 kgs). This focused energy creates a controlled erosion, micro-breaking the surface crystals and opening the stone's pores to create an even, matte texture.
