Packaging Steps
Wooden crate preparation: Place the wooden crate on a flat floor and check if it is intact and undamaged.
Bottom filling: Lay a layer of foam at the bottom of the wooden crate to ensure that the stone will not directly contact the bottom of the wooden crate when placed.
Placing stone: Gently place the stone into the wooden crate, paying attention to the direction of the stone placement to avoid tipping over due to unstable center of gravity during transportation.
Internal filling: foam board or foam cotton shall be filled between the stone and the inner wall of the wooden crate to reduce the shaking space of the stone during transportation. At the same time, a layer of foam board is laid above the stone for protection.
Fixed stone: Use packing straps or plastic steel straps to secure the stone inside the wooden crate, ensuring that the stone does not move during transportation. Plastic corner protectors or sponges should be placed on the packaging tape where it comes into contact with the stone to reduce wear and tear.
External protection: Wrap several layers of film around the outside of the wooden crate to increase the cushioning layer. Finally, use tape to secure the packaging.
