How are granite tiles made

Granite tiles are made through a process that involves cutting and polishing large slabs of natural stone. The production of these tiles starts with the selection of high-quality granite extracted from quarries around the world. Once the granite has been chosen and extracted, it is transported to a factory where it can be processed.

Take granite Ivory white stone from our own quarry as an example. These Ivory White Granite stone tiles were taken from a quarry in northern China. 30000 M3 blocks are currently being mined. Each month, we can make 10000M2 of tiles or countertops.

The first step in producing granite tiles is cutting the granite slabs into smaller, more manageable pieces. This is typically done using large saws that can cut through the dense stone. Once the granite has been cut, it is polished to create a smooth and shiny surface. The polishing process involves the use of industrial-grade equipment that uses special abrasives to buff and polish the stone until it achieves the desired finish.

Once the granite has been cut and polished, it is ready to be turned into tiles. The granite is cut into square or rectangular shapes of certain sizes, depending on the buyer's specifications. These shapes are then packaged and shipped to stores and warehouses where they can be sold to consumers.

Granite tiles are favored for their durability, resilience, and beauty. They are an excellent choice for flooring, as well as for kitchen and bathroom countertops. With their natural variations in color and pattern, no two granite tiles are exactly alike, making them a unique and desirable option for home décor.

In conclusion, granite tiles are a product of a carefully controlled manufacturing process that ensures high quality and durability. With their natural beauty, they are a popular material for high-end construction and decoration projects.
