Here's a simple guide to clean marble shower walls:
Daily/Weekly Care:
After showering, rinse the walls with plain water and use a squeegee to remove water droplets. This prevents soap scum and hard water stains.
For regular cleaning, use a soft cloth or sponge with warm water.
For a Deeper Clean:
- Use a pH-Neutral Cleaner: This is the most important rule. Never use vinegar, lemon juice, or abrasive cleaners, as they will etch (dull) the marble surface.
- Gentle Washing: Mix a mild, pH-neutral soap or a cleaner made specifically for stone with warm water. Gently wash the surface.
- Rinse Thoroughly: Rinse all the cleaning solution off with clean water.
- Dry Softly: Dry the marble with a soft towel to prevent water spots.
Remember: Always test any new cleaner in a small, hidden area first. Resealing your marble periodically will also help protect it from stains.
