Why Is Travertine Stone Tile not Suitable for Exterior Walls

I received an email from a customer today.
He is looking for approximately 400 square meters of beige travertine filled and polishing finish tiles for the exterior walls of his house in Portugal, cut into 120 * 60  with 1.8-2.0 centimeter thick tiles .
