On the morning of November 10th, Zhu Guangyao, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of Xiamen Customs, and his delegation visited the Shuitou Stone Expo for research. Chen Qian, member of the Standing Committee of Nan'an Municipal Party Committee and Deputy Mayor, and Chen Changtai, Secretary of the Party Committee of Shuitou Town, accompanied the research.
Director Zhu Guangyao stated that this research activity is aimed at implementing the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping during his inspection in Fujian and better serving local economic development. Stone is an important import and export material for Xiamen Customs, and Nan'an is also an important stone production base and distribution center. Therefore, we hope to gain a deeper understanding of the difficulties encountered by stone enterprises in import and export, as well as opinions and suggestions on customs services.
Director Zhu fully affirmed the bridging role played by the Nan'an Stone Association between customs and the industry, and instructed that in the future, customs should continue to improve work efficiency and service quality in various aspects such as customs clearance, taxation, and the various businesses involved in the import and export of the stone industry. They should fully support the stone industry to establish bonded warehouses and overseas warehouses when conditions permit, closely communicate and contact with the association, strengthen the promotion of laws and regulations, timely understand industry needs, overcome bottlenecks and difficulties in import and export trade, and jointly promote the healthy development of the Nan'an stone industry.
