Marble Wall Tile Production Process
Quarry Extraction
Mine marble blocks from the quarry.

Block Storage & Selection
Transport rough blocks to the storage yard for selection.

Block Reinforcement
Apply resin and embed fiberglass mesh on 4 sides of blocks (to prevent fracturing during cutting).

Block Trimming & Slab Cutting
Trim blocks, then cut into slabs of specified thickness using diamond wire saws.

Slabs coat with glue
Move the slabs to the workshop, manually coat the mesh on the back of marble slabs, move the slabs for air-drying. and Apply epoxy resin (AB glue) on the top surface side in 3 times: coat → air dry

Polishing
Move resin-treated slabs onto automatic polishing machines for surface polished finishing.

Texture Scanning (Optional)
Scan polished slabs with digital stone scanners to map veining patterns.

Tile Cutting
Cut slabs into tiles on infrared-guided bridge cutters according to required dimensions.

Tile Inspection
Air-dry tiles in the sorting area. Inspect surfaces for defects (cracks, color inconsistencies, etc.).

Edge Processing
Re-cut or refine tile edges if needed.

Waterproofing Prep
Ensure tiles are fully dried and cleaned before waterproof treatment.
Waterproof Sealing
Spray waterproofing agent on tile surfaces and 4edges, air-dry completely before packing.
Client Approval
Take the photos of finished tiles and notify clients for final confirmation before packaging.
Packaging
Wrap tiles with protective foam/corner guards and pack in wooden crates.

Shipping Arrangements
Coordinate with freight forwarders for logistics and transportation. Our stone products are mostly shipped via 20GP container by sea.

Process Notes:
Critical Steps: Block reinforcement (Step 3) and epoxy stabilization (Step 5) prevent cracks in soft marble.
Quality Control: Defect inspection (Step 9) and client approval (Step 13) ensure premium output.
Industry Standards: Slab thickness tolerance typically ±1mm, tile dimensional accuracy ≤0.5mm variance.
This workflow aligns with global stone fabrication practices for architectural-grade marble tiles.
